After living in NYC and Los Angeles for many years, Leslie moved back home and jumped into the vibrant theater scene of Dallas and Ft Worth. In the few years that she has been home, Leslie has performed numerous shows at Dallas Children's Theater, Circle Theatre, Casa Manana, WaterTower Theatre, Uptown Players, and Theatre Three. She continues to perform and teach improv all over DFW and leads corporate improv workshops all over the US.
Leslie has been performing in theater, film, TV, commercials, voiceovers, musical improv and sketch comedy for over 20 years. She trained with incredible teachers from the Upright Citizens Brigade-NY, The Peoples Improv Theater, Groundlings and the Magnet Theater. She went on to perform on house teams at UCB-NY, the PIT, Magnet, Annoyance Theater, and with world renowned musical improv troupe, Baby Wants Candy.
She has been seen in numerous national commercials for brands such as Progressive, Cascade, American Express, and Walmart, to name a few. Having performed at such great theaters as Goodspeed Opera House, Flat Rock Playhouse and Theater Under the Stars, and abroad (Sydney Opera House and Edinburgh Fringe), she continues to pursue theater work all over the country. Leslie also writes, directs and produces her own storytelling web series titled, Nighty Night with Miss B, a wacky and irreverent bedtime storytelling web series for adults. She was an artist in residence at Arts Mission Oak Cliff in 2023 and developed the Miss B series into an immersive theatrical staged show and performed it to sold out houses.
Leslie produced an improvised children’s bedtime storytelling podcast We Love Bedtime Stories and continues to lend her voice to numerous narrative podcast projects. Currently, she co-produces and hosts, Sumo Kaboom Podcast, about one of her passions... sumo wrestling!
